AI detects distress on farms.
What I found
Your bacon has something to say.
AI decodes animal calls, and people hear what their dog, their cattle and their dinner are actually saying. It could be the most moving thing technology ever does.
Then a campaign straps AI interpreters to pigs and walks them into a child’s birthday party at a famous burger chain. The pigs explain to the children that they don’t want to die.
Pet care, farming and welfare labels get a new currency: what the animals themselves report. Brands that can prove happy animals win. Once a pig can say it’s frightened, meat becomes a culture war; farmers, butchers and supermarkets become targets, and every food label turns political.
And whose translation counts? The interpreter’s company, the farmer’s or the campaigner’s decides what the animal is heard to say. If your business depends on something that can’t talk back, plan for the day it can.
