The School That Hires You

Education becomes talent development for a recruiter.

Everyone expects

AI tutors personalise education.

What I found

Free school. Your teacher’s on commission.

Star, a recruitment company, offers free AI-supported education to children whose schooling has been repeatedly interrupted. Tuition adapts to each child’s language and starting point; local educators run practical work, group activities and safeguarding. It works. Overlooked abilities become visible and qualifications become attainable.

As learners become adults, Star connects willing graduates with employers, whose placement fees fund the next cohort. Star now has a reason to develop the people employers will pay most to recruit. A child’s chance to explore becomes preparation for somebody else’s staffing plan.

The pressure needn’t stop at jobs. Sponsors could seek lessons that normalise hierarchy or obedience, and personalised teaching makes that hard for parents or regulators to see. Families who can pay for an alternative keep their children’s options open. Families who rely on the free school have little say in what their children become.

Providers might seek exclusive placement rights, or repayment if a graduate chooses another route. Free at the point of entry need not mean freedom at the point of exit.

Follow the connections.
